Zubacorp Air Curtain Reactors (ZACRs)
Environmentally Positive: With negligible particulate emissions, meager maintenance costs and low fuel consumption, no other method of volume reduction or contamination destruction comes close to the efficacy of Zubacorp Air Curtain Reactors. (ZACRs) Open burning of wood waste produces huge clouds of particulate laden smoke, polluting the environment and resulting in constant complaints from neighboring property owners. ZACRs are extremely clean burning in comparison. Cost Effective: Shredding wood for volume reduction is very expensive in comparison and does not kill insect larvae and eggs. Shredded material needlessly fills our fast depleting landfills and the high economic and environmental cost of both shredding and trucking makes it prohibitive. Volume Reduction: With reactor temperatures ranging as high as 2500° F, the volume of waste is reduced by up to 95% producing significant disposal cost savings and providing the direct environmental benefits of reduced use of landfill space and reduced environmental impact of trucking. High Volume: With consumption rates of up to 20 tons per hour, Zubacorp Air Curtain Reactors. (ZACRs) can handle enormous volumes of clean waste at very low cost. Even green wood is effectively rendered due to the very high combustion temperatures sustained by our refractory lined reactors. Tornado and hurricane ravaged neighborhoods can be stripped of debris and readied for reconstruction in record time. Disease and Infestation Destruction: Whether destroying insect infestations or diseased animal carcasses, on-site thermal destruction depletes the waste without ever having to move it off site. Destruction of diseased herds or flocks in agriculture can be accomplished directly on the farm, eliminating the risk of spreading disease. Recovery of Minerals Residual ash from thermal decomposition is sterile and an ideal soil additive. The minerals released in this thermal process are suitable for direct land application and / or mixing with mineral deficient soils in agricultural and/or greenhouse applications. Greenhouse Gas Reduction: No methane is produced as it is in the composting of wood products and that major contributor to ozone depletion and global warming is avoided. The CO2 released is taken up by other plants and trees as their natural food source and the carbon is again sequestered in those living plants. Energy Recovery: In stationary applications, residual heat can be recovered for the heating of buildings and greenhouses as well as for electric power generation..
Nothing is wasted and direct environmental benefits are provided as are significant cost efficiencies.
